Moonah Links and The National
Integrated golf course and low density living developments
In 2000, The National Golf Club commissioned Watsons to develop the residential housing surrounding the National’s most recent golf courses. Watsons, together with a project team including golf course architects Thompson Perrett and Greg Norman, created a recreational living environment that embraced the natural environment and the coastline while satisfy golfing passions.
In 2002, Moonah Links commissioned Watsons to develop the residential subdivision surrounding the home of the Australian Open’s two golf courses. Again Watsons formed part of the project team to create a subtle living environment that Australians are proud to display as the centrepiece of Australian Golf.
